But paying 60000 €/ha in Germany or paying 1500 €/hour for hired help, that is where I have passed the line.Welkom in Oregon Springs, dit is mijn eerste map in Amerikaanse stijl. As I see it, it only makes sense to talk about straw volume if the straw is inside a specific "container", such as a bale or a mixing wagon.Īs far as yield is concerned, one should not draw a very solid line, as it all varies with whether, location, etc. It seems to me that a given mass of loose straw can take any volume you want, if spread out sufficiently. FS19 uses only one fillType for straw, regardless of being loose or baled. Take bales, the volume of a square bale may be 2.25m3 (2250L), but relatively speaking IRL there would be much more than 4000L of lose straw in one by the time you cut the strings and fluffed it up from its compacted state to its lose state much like it was in the swath, and the volume that Giants use is a representation of lose straw volume and not compacted volume, constrained by the fact that if there was more lose straw volume in them you would get much more straw waste with mixing wagons making TMR and it would be harder to get the right mix ratios, though you would have fewer bales to transport from the fields.Īre you sure that FS19 considers the 4000 L to be loose straw? I doubt that. Prices and yield differ between the three versions.įor instance field 20 on Felsbrunn is ~1.03Ha, if you plant it with wheat after having ploughed it and spread lime on it, with the correct applications of fertilizer, and you dealt with the weeds, you would yield ~12843L of crop off it.ġ2.843m3 of wheat has a mass of between 9504kg and 10146kg dependent on the moisture % it was harvested at IRL, but if we were to say it was ~10000kg (~10 tonnes) from ~1 hectare of ground, that yield would be more than >6700kg (>6.7 tonnes) short of the world record of 16.791 tonnes/hectare, even if we use the notional volumetric weight of FS of 1000L/tonne that Giants use for crop sales, that is still almost 4 tonnes short of the world record. The latests versions of FS19_RealLifeNumbers is available at in three flavors (Germany, UK, US Heartland). I guess you would have to reinstall the map to get the original vanilla game parameter values back. A user has reported that deactivating FS19_RealLifeNumbers will not bring back the original game parameter values. If you do want to try out FS19_RealLifeNumbers, I recommend starting a new savegame. Making it ready for a dedicated server is outside my current abilities. So I'm trying hard to make it as multiplayer ready as I can. Turns out, that it is more ready for multiplayer mode than I had thought. However, it is not entirely ready for multiplayer mode. You must edit the numbers in the mod to get these volumes.Īs far a FS19_RealLifeNumbers is concerned, it may be what you want. I use the excellent mod VariableBaleCapacity by sperrgebiet to adjust the bale volumes. They are about 1500 L for a round bale and about 2600 L for a square bale. Perhaps meduss is referring to the dimensions of bales in FS19. ![]() assuming full length (converted to cm) total volume 90 x 116 x 300 = 3132000 cubic cm and /or 3132 liters The Kuhn LSB1290D makes bales that are nominally 3'x4' and from 2' to 10' long. We are just looking at making the game more enjoyable for us and not need to mod in loads of really big equipment to harvest a field that in reality you could do with a small trailer.Īn example of what I am saying is a square bale is 4000ltr and this is so far from real it is untrue.Ĥ000 ltr is not that far off for a square bale, most people tend to go the other way and increase the size of the bales Harvesting a maize field would give you nearly 95% more chaff then is real life. ![]() I would be very interested in peoples views and comments on this and most importantly any one that know how we might be able to achieve this.Īn example of what I am saying is a square bale is 4000ltr and this is so far from real it is untrue. Well I have managed with alot of help from others to change these factors in the maps that we are playing but wanted to find a way of doing it once say in a mod or in the base of the game and so we could play any map in the way that we feel is realistic. I always thought I was along on this until I found others with the same idea. Hi everyone, I have been playing Farming Simulator for a while now and always thought the animal feeds and bales were very unrealistic and with that in mind the yield you would get off a field. ![]()
